국문 초록 (Abstract)

중국이 세계 무역 기구에 가입 함으로서 경제, 문화의 국제화, 그리고 국제간의 거래가 갈수록 빈번해져 가고 있다. 이에 발 맞추어 전문적인 지식도 갖추고 있으며, 유창한 영어구사능력을 갖춘 대학생들이 사회의 인기를 갈수록 많이 받고 있다. 하지만 이와 동시에 전 세계에 금융위기가 발발하여 대학생들은 거대한 취업 압력에 직면하고 있다. 우리나라의 고등교육 또한 거대한 도전을 받고 있으며, 대학교 영어교육 역시 이와 같은 상황에 놓여있다. 이런 현실적인 시점에서 우리는 선진국들의 훌륭한 교육과정을 토대로 우리의 교육실정에 맞는 교육과정을 좀 더 세심하게 고려해야 할 것이다. 한국은 우리의 이웃 나라로써 문화배경은 우리나라와 아주 큰 연원이 있어 우선먼저 참고로 할 대상이다. 그러므로 양국 대학교 영어 교육의 발전 과정으로부터 출발하여 중•한 양국 두 나라 대학교 영어교육 현황을 비교, 연구하였다. 두 대학의 연구를 통하여 우수한 점과 우수하지 않은 점을 알게 되었으며, 또한 우리나라 대학 영어교육에 필요한 연구를 제언하며, 효율적인 영어지도방법에 대한 의미를 부여하고자 하였다.
본 연구의 주요 내용은 4가지 부분으로 구성되었다. 첫째, 본 연구의 서론 부분으로써 본 연구의 배경을 분석하였다. 또한 본 연구의 목적에 맞게 효과적으로 목적을 달성하기 위해 먼저 한국과 중국의 두 대학을 선정하였다. 둘째, 이론부분으로써 주요하게 중•한 대학교 영어 교육 현황을 설명하였고 아울러 영어전공 학생들의 영어학습에 대한 태도를 고찰하였다. 셋째, 본 논문의 중점 부분으로써 비교를 통해 중•한 지방 대학교의 영어 교육에 치중하여 분석하였고 학점, 방법, 내용, 교실교수품질 등 4가지 방면으로부터 분석, 설명하였으며 아울러 필자의 견해와 제안을 두었다. 또한 비교, 분석한 것에서 유익한 점들은 우리나라 대학 영어교육의 연구에 기여할 수 있으며, 본 연구의 주요 결론을 정리하였다.

With the entry to WTO and the internationalization in economy and literature, the increasing international communication makes the students with both professional knowledge and good English communication ability more and more popular. Meanwhile, owing to the global financial crisis, the university students bear heavy pressure of employment, and our higher education, as well as university English education, is facing huge challenge. Under such condition, we should learn from the advanced experience from the countries with developed education. Korea, our neighboring country with various connects in cultural background, is our first choice to learn from. Therefore, it’s of high significance to push our country’s research and guide our university English education under the way of comparative study on the currency of Sino-Korea university English education to seek out the own advantages and disadvantages, from the point of the development of Sino-Korea university English education.
The study of this paper includes mainly four parts. The introduction, as the first part, mainly analyzes this paper’s research background, purpose, research range and methods. The second is theory part, mainly describing the currency of Sino-Korea university English education and investigating the students’ attitude to English learning. The third, key part of this paper, analyzes the English education in Sino-Korea local universities by comparison of credits, methods, contents and class teaching quality, and proposes the writer’s views and suggestions. Through the comparative analysis, we can get some helpful inspirations and find out the points worth learning. The last is the brief conclusion.
