교수자이미지가 대학생의 자기이미지에 미치는 영향 = The influence of Lecturer's Image on Self-Image of university students|RISS 상세보기

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 대학생들이 자신의 이미지경쟁력 강화 및 삶의 목표 설정 및 문제를 해결할 수 있는 방법으로 대학생들의 특성들을 이해하고 대학생들의 삶의 질을 높일 수 있도록 돕기 위해서 다차원적인 측면을 다루고 있는 자기이미지를 대학생들에게 적용하여 교수자이미지를 통해 대학생들이 명품화된 인적자원으로 개발되도록 하는데 그 목적이 있다.

교수자이미지가 대학생의 자기이미지에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 조사하기 위하여, 경남 마산지역 M대학, C대학에 재학 중인 2개 대학생들을 대상으로 비확률 표본 방식 중에서 편의표집방법을 사용하여 설문하였으며 본 연구에서 수집된 모든 자료의 통계처리는 IBM/SPSS 20.0 프로그램을 사용하여 분석했다.

이 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다.

첫째, 대학생이 지각한 교수자이미지가 대학생의 자기이미지에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 대학생들이 교수자이미지가 좋을수록 대학생 자신의 이미지도 긍정적으로 평가한다는 것이다. 대학생 자기이미지의 변화 향상을 위해 교수자의 좋은 이미지가 영향력을 발휘하고 도움이 된다는 결과가 도출되었다. 따라서 교수자들은 대학생들에게 좀 더 모범이 되면서 닮고 싶은 모델의 모습을 갖출 수 있도록 교수자 스스로가 관리하고 노력을 해야 한다.

둘째, 대학생이 지각한 교수자의 목소리와 발음, 말의 크기와 속도가 좋을수록, 그리고 교수자로서의 신뢰감, 자신감, 친근감, 겸손한 태도, 호감, 똑똑함 등의 요소가 좋을수록 대학생 자신의 내면의 감정과 생각, 기분 즉 내적이미지에 가장 많은 영향을 받는 것으로 결과가 도출되었다. 또한 교수자의 음성이미지가 대학생 외적이미지에도 긍정적인 영향력을 발휘하는 것으로 나타났으며, 교수자의 행위적이미지가 대학생들의 대인관계에 필요한 사회적이미지관리에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

따라서, 교수자의 음성이미지, 정서적이미지와 행위적이미지가 계속해서 잘 관리되고 향상될 수 있도록 교수자 스스로는 물론이고 교육기관에서도 더 많은 관심을 가져야 할 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study aims at applying self-image addressing diverse aspects as a means by which university students can strengthen their image competitiveness, setting their life goals and solving problems to help them understand their characteristics and enhance their life quality, and facilitating them to be developed as fine human resources through a teacher's image.

To explore what effect of a teacher's image has on university students' self-image, this study conducted a questionnaire survey to two university students attaching M University and C University, Masan Region, Gyeongnam using a convenient sampling method of non-probability sampling methods, and for all data collected, analyzed them using IBM/SPSS 20.0 problem as statistica processing.

The major findings of this study are as follows.

First, they indicated that a teacher's image perceived by university students has a positive effect of their self-image. This means that the better teacher's image university students have, the more positively they assess their image. They reached a conclusion that a good teacher's image is effective and helpful in changing and improving university students' self-image. So, teachers should manage and make a effort to set a model to university students and be an image to wish to take after.

Second, the better university students' perceived teacher's voice, pronunciation, speech pitch and pace are, and the better the teacher's trust, confidence, intimacy, favor, cleverness and others are, the most influenced university students' internal emotions and thoughts, feelings, that is internal image are. Also they showed that the teacher's voice image has a positive effect on university students' external image, and the teacher's behavioral image has an effect on social image management for university students' interpersonla relations.

So, that the teacher's voice image, emotional image and behavioral image can be more better managed and improved, teachers as well educational institutions should have more concern.
