The purpose of this study was intended to determine the effects of nutrition education on food habit, dietary attitude, nutrition knowledge and nutrient intake of Female Married Immigrants. The nutrition education was consist of four times each 60 minute targeting mainly Female Married Immigrants who have participated to Nutriplus program in Gimje Public Health Center. The participates of the education were total 14 people who have done the survey and four times of attending nutrition education or not. The pregnant women were excepted. The results of the research were as follows. As general facts, a frequent study of marital period, nationality, drinking·smoking·exercise, lifestyle habit and nutrition management was conducted. A study of weight, Body Mass Index(BMI), Waist-Hip Ratio(WHR), Percent Body Fat(PBF) was not shown the significant differences, but systolic blood pressure was shown the significant differences after nutrition education(p<0.05). In the study of food habit, Female Married Immigrants mainly had korean food as forms of breakfast and dinner and rate of going without a meal was intended to decrease after nutrition education. The study of dietary attitude was not shown the significant differences in total score, but was shown the significant increments after the education of balanced dietary(p<0.05). The study of nutrition knowledge was shown the significant increment in 'function of carbohydrate', 'function of fat', 'foods of carbohydrate', 'foods of fat', 'foods of vitamin', 'foods of mineral' and total score. The enery ingestion of Female Married Immigrants was increased in mean±SD from 1031.77±297.79 to 1383.77±439.81 and there were the significant increasement in ingestion of protein, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Thiamin, Vitamin B6 in assessment by KDRIs. Also, there were the significant increasement of MAR because of a balanced dietary in quality(p<0.001). The nutrition education resulted in improvement on food habit, dietary attitude, nutrition knowledge and nutrient intake of Female Married Immigrants. Therefore, it suggests that regular nutrition education should provide immigrated women for the balanced dietary life.
