Smartphone became a big part of our daily life in living our own life today. According to subscriber status of wireless communication service in Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning, mobile phone subscriber reached about 59.8 million, as of May 2016 and it was revealed that one nation has one or more than two mobile devices.
With this explosive user growth, many companies have competitively launched that existing PC-based services are able to be used on the mobile and as a result of efforts to get users, as of today, most existing PC-based services was also able to be used on the mobile.
The damage is significant level when malware code infection or invasion accident is happened because mobile devices are turned on for 24 hours and personal information is included in various things, such as contacts, text message, messenger conversation and photo. Although the various security features for secure mobile service have been consistently developing, it will be expected to continuously increase security threats due to operating system from now on and service diversification.
This paper is to have a goal that security professionals can take advantage of a security vulnerability assessment by specifying a variety of security features for responding to security threats as well as by presenting iOS mobile apps vulnerability assessment methodology of smartphone platform based on vulnerability analysis and evaluation criteria in the financial sector.
