A Study on Thermal Deformation Analysis to Built-in Spindle of Tool Grinding Machine.
Recently, the production and manufacturing field require a high level of precision. Accordingly, there is an increasing demand for improvement of processing precision in the production of parts. Grinding machines are essential and essential equipment in the field of production and manufacturing. For the development of a high-precision tool grinder, it is necessary to secure a systematic grinding machine design technology that satisfies thermal-structural stability.
In this study, for the development of a tool grinder for building a high-precision tool grinding system, the thermal stability of the spindle of the grinder was confirmed by analyzing the thermal displacement of the spindle, which greatly affects the precision of the grinding machine. The heat source of the grinding machine spindle was largely divided into bearings and built-in motors, and the amount of heat generated according to the operating conditions was calculated through a formula and analysis was performed. The thermal displacement of the grinding machine spindle was analyzed through thermal-structural ductility analysis, and the analysis value was verified through actual measurement.
