A Study on the Effects of Parental Education Using K-MOOC on Parenting Stress, Parent-Child Relationships, and the Self-Regulation of Infants Min-kyung, Kim Major in Special Education Graduate School of Education Kwangwoon University Children form the basis for viewing the world based on the system of experience in relationships with their parents. Positive behaviors and parenting attitudes that occur when parents and children interact have a great influence on the child's holistic development. In addition, children, whose play is part of their lives, learn and form the basics of seeing the world through play. Accordingly, the need for a parental education program using play that can provide practical help to parents in parenting is emerging. In accordance with this need, this study aims to investigate the effects of parenting stress, parent-child relationships, and self-regulation of infants through a parent education using K-MOOC. Research problems according to the purpose of such research are as follows: First, is there a significant difference in the degree of change in parenting stress between the experimental group who participated in parental education using K-MOOC and the control group who did not participate? Second, is there a significant difference in the degree of change in the parent-child relationship between the experimental group who participated in the parent education using K-MOOC and the control group who did not participate? Third, is there a significant difference in the degree of change in self-regulation ability of infants between the experimental group who participated in the parental education using K-MOOC and the control group who did not participate? In this study, the experimental group was 22 infants and mothers aged 4 and 5 at a U-daycare-center in Gyeonggi-do. The control group was designed with 22 children aged 4 and 5 attending I-daycare-center in Gyeonggi-do. An independent sample t-test was conducted to compare and analyze the pre-post changes of the two groups, and descriptive statistics were conducted using the SPSS 25.0 program. Parental education using K-MOOC was organized to reduce parenting stress, promote parent-child relationships, and improve children's self-regulation ability. The parent education divided the competencies required by parents into 10 sub-topics and conducted 14 sessions. The method was conducted in parallel with SNS-based non-face-to-face and face-to-face activities, and after each session was over, play with children at home and in the playroom, as a result, feedback was conducted in the form of sharing stories while watching photos or videos, and 14 sessions were conducted by repeating the above procedure. The results of this study can be summarized as follows: First, parental education using K-MOOC showed statistically significant differences in the degree of change in pre- and post-test between the experimental group and the control group in parenting stress. Second, parental education using K-MOOC showed statistically significant differences in the degree of change in pre-post tests between the experimental group and the control group in parent-child relationships. Third, parental education using K-MOOC showed statistically significant differences in the degree of change in pre-post tests between the experimental group and the control group in the self-regulation of infants. From these results, it was found that parental education using K-MOOC is effective in improving early childhood parent-child relationships and increasing infants' self-regulation by reducing parenting stress. It is also significant in that individual interventions were conducted for those who participated in parental education programs using K-MOOC.
