국문 초록 (Abstract)

해양문화는 바다와 바다의 경험을 통해 인간의 예술, 철학, 문학 등의 다양한 영역의 분야에 걸쳐서 발전해오고 있다. 해양의 풍경문화를 접하고 살아가는 사람들에게는 특유의 감정과 정서가 나타난다. 예술가는 주위 환경에 많은 영향을 받게 되어 있으며, 태어나고 자란 곳에서 자기 예술의 모태를 삼는다. 해양미학과 관련되어서 나타나는 피카소의 작품 소재는 고독한 사람들, 비둘기, 바다 배경과 여인들 등 단순한 소재가 아닌 바다와 같은 무한한 숭고함, 평화의 상징으로써의 존엄성 등으로 나타나고 있다. 그런 관점에서 본 논고는 해양성과 해양미학의 고찰을 통해 피카소의 지중해와의 관계를 학문생애사적 사례를 적용하여 미적 교육과의 관계성을 탐구해보고자 한다. 해양미적교육을 통해 현대의 성인들은 사회의 구성원이자 예술인으로서 해양의 본성을 추구했던 피카소의 삶을 통해 바다의 본성에 다가설 수 있다. 대중적인 요소에서 벗어나 피카소의 인간적인 삶을 해양미학의 미적 교육의 차원에서 돌아본다면, 우리의 현재의 삶을 반추해볼 수 있는 계기가 될 것이라고 본다.걱정이나 고난 근심으로 괴로워하는 사람들도 피카소의 근본적인 삶이 드러나는 작품에서 의미와 가치를 찾아본다면 그가 담고 있는 예술의 그릇을 올곧이 이해하고 삶에 적용할 수있을 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Marine culture has been developing in various fields such as human art, philosophy, and literature through sea and sea experiences. Artists are greatly influenced by their surroundings and take the birthplace of their art where they were born and raised. The subject matter of Picasso's work, which appears in relation to marine aesthetics, is not just a subject of solitary people, pigeons, sea backgrounds, and women, but an infinite sublime like the sea, and dignity as a symbol of peace. From that point of view, this paper attempts to explore the relationship between aesthetics education by applying Picasso's relationship with the Mediterranean Sea through the consideration of maritime characteristic and marine aesthetics. If we look back on Picasso's human life in terms of the aesthetics education of marine aesthetics, away from the popular element, I think it will be an opportunity to reflect on our present lives. Even those who suffer from worries or hardships will soon be able to understand and apply his art vessel to life if they find meaning and value in Picasso's work that reveals his fundamental life.
