    This essay is an attempt to discuss the problem of the relation of art to philosophy in Hegel's Music Aesthetics. In his 「Lectures on the Aesthetics」 discusses Hegel the historical development of the various types of art on the basis of his system of ideas metaphors.
    In addition, this work attempts to examine and reinterpret Adorno's analyzes of music and society in his works on the basis of his critical examination of the Dialectic of Enlightenment. Adorno considers the social contents, functions, and contexts of music materials in relation to their functions as products of music. In terms of culture industry, music is a cultural product that pursues profit through socio-economic production and production relations.
    The ideas in Hegel's music aesthetics and Adorno's sociology of music suggest that a new paradigm for contemporary times is needed to discuss contemporary art where the past paradigm is no longer valid. Adorno analyzes how musical materials and the contents of music relate to society. It also discusses the social mechanisms of production, distribution and consumption of musical compositions.
    Hegel's and Adorno's ideas have implications for contemporary art, art management and art policy.

    This essay is an attempt to discuss the problem of the relation of art to philosophy in Hegel's Music Aesthetics. In his 「Lectures on the Aesthetics」 discusses Hegel the historical development of the various types of art on the basis of his system of ideas metaphors.

    본 논문은 음악이 하나의 예술작품과 문화상품으로 인식되어가는 구조와 과정을 헤겔의 음악미학과 아도르노의 음악사회학을 통하여 고찰하고자 한다. 독일 고전주의 미학의 대표자인 헤겔과 2차 세계대전 이후 음악사회학의 대명사로 간주되는 아도르노의 음악관을 통하여 음악이 시대의 요청에 따라 어떠한 역할을 하고 있는지 고찰하고자 한다. 본고는 헤겔의 음악미학과 아도르노의 음악사회학에 내재된 음악의 진리내용과 실천방법의 분석을 통하여, 오늘날의 음악적 패러다임을 이해하는데 도움이 되고자 한다.
