The seed of Ginkgo biloba is germinated in complete sterilized conditions, then after 5days, be cutted in longitudinal plane by radial section method. Consequently, we can observed there is 11 initial cell graups in one tier, and it formed derivative meristem at up and down, up-derivative meristem formed procambium by perclinal division, down-derivative meristem formed rib-meristem by periclinal division, and formed groud meristem by anticlinal division.
The rib-meristem formed calyptra that it protect initial cells area, therefere, we recognize that its' tissue differentiation type is Pseudotsuga type that is reported by Allen G S. at 1947.
