Speech is convenience of usage and is superior to another interface of natural. and yet there are many people that pronunciation is not correct, and pronunciation learning tools is not popularization.
In this paper, we designed CAI(Computer Assistance Instruction) for pronunciation learning using acoustic analysis. This CAI consist of wave form, spectrographic, oral map, instruction message and command parts. This CAI is implemented by using the Access 2.0, Visual Basic 5.0 and multimedia techniques. This CAI menu are vowel pronunciation, word pronunciation, dictation, statistical report and exit.
This CAI is compatible, flexible and powerful. Therefore this can be used to the teaching tools of pronunciation in primary school, preschool, special classes for the education of mentally handicaped children.
