    Recently, the high level noise from the water drainage duct in apartments raised serious social problems. Therefore, the development of noise reduction duct which can both keep the proper drainage function and have high efficiency of noise reduction is needed.
    In this study, the dual hallowed type of noise reduction duct was developed and its performance tests such as noise reduction effect, strength test etc, were conducted.
    From the results of performance tests, the noise reduction duct developed by this study was sufficient for market competition compared to pre-made PVC duct.
