In this thesis, unsteady temperature distribution inside a torus is studied using perturbation method.
Introducing perturbation parameter ε, which is the ratio of sectional radius to mean radius of torus, the temperature field in the torus is expanded to second order in power series, assuming that the solution is a function of ε.
The results show that when ε is very small (ε<1) this method is accurate comparing with the physical phenomena.
