This paper aims to restore the memory of Uidong of Samgak Mountain, with perception that researchers of classical text should retrace life of forgotten people of the past thorough reading it. Uigugok, also called Igyegugok, once had been possession of Deoksu Yi Family's, which later transferred to Namyang Hong Family, two of whose members, Hong Yangho and his grandson Hong Gyeongmo, left an enormous amount of poetry and essay recording the region's history and scenery. This paper introduces the history of Uidong mainly by these two's poetry and essay, then tries to reconstruct the original circumstances of Mangyeongpok, Jeokchwibyeong, Chanwunbong, Jineuigang, Okgyeongdae, Weolyeongdam, Takyeongam, Myeongoktan and Jaeganjeong - namely, what Uigugok used to be looked like.
