Hash functions are important roles in cryptography. However, the design background or a generalized model of MDx family hash function such as MD5, SHA-1, RIPEMD-160 is unknown, so the evaluation of MDx family hash function is difficult. In this paper, an approximated model is proposed to generalize hash functions. The diffusion of a input difference it tested by the approximated model for MD5. The results show that MD4 does not provide perfect diffusion, do MD5 is weak against some attacks. We evaluate SHA-1 with proposed model, and show SHA-1 does not provide perfect diffusion, also. For the perfect diffusion of hash functions, we propose a multiple chaining pattern in approximated model of hash function It is shown that multiple pattern provides perfect diffusion without extra calculation and memory.

A variety of actuators have been studied for an implantable artificial heart. They, all, however, have common drawbacks in complicated energy conversion mechanism and the use of bearings. A ferrofluidic actuator directly drives magnetic fluids simply by applying a magnetic field to these fluids ; it requires no bearings. The feasibility was studied. An array of two poles of ring solenoids with a gap of 10㎜ was mounted near the acrylic tube (7.4 ㎜D). A rubber sac (volume : 2㎖) was connected to both ends of the acrylic tube, The sacs were encased in a rigid chamber that had inlet and outlet ports. The acrylic tube and the rubber sacs were filled with water and the magnetic fluid and the iron cylinder were immersed in the water. Two experiments were conducted: 1) the magnetic fluid only was used and 2) the magnetic fluid and the iron cylinder (7.1㎜D and 27.8㎖) were used. A flow of 30㎖/min was obtained in the experiment 1 at 140 beats/min and 180㎖min in the experiment 2 at 240 beats/min The maximum driving pressure was 13㎜Hg in the experiment 1 and 300㎜Hg in the experiment 2. The combination of the magnetic fluid and the iron cylinder was used as a substitute for magnetic fluids with high magnetization. The substitute could eject a flow of 80.9% of the maximum value. A magnetic fluid-driven blood pump could be feasible if the magnetic fluid with high magnetization (1.5 times greater than the current value) is developed

A Slim type disk drive used for a notebook computer has a rubber mount of high stiffness to cope with space restriction and internal pick-up base vibration. In this case, the flexibility of pick-up base may have an effect on the dynamic characteristics of an optical disk system. In this paper, a theoretical model considering the effects of flexibility of pick-up base on the natural frequency of optical disk system is proposed. In the model, the pick-up base is assumed to consist of two mass and one stiffness. The transmissibility experiments are performed, which confirms the usefulness of proposed model.

This study is to closely examine into depiction of religious symbolism in city temples built after 1990s focusing on Buddhist's dogma and the viewpoint of urban environment. Especially focusing on after 90s, which the ornamented aspect has been actively reflected in architecture on city temples, 10 temples in Seoul, and Kyoungg-gi-do area those have the high distribution of city temples had been selected to be analyzed regarding changes of religious symbolismin morphological, functional, and spatial aspects. Among those the main aspect in changesis the changes of belief system due to the horizontal spatial composition in Danbuljeon.

If we take account of the 'Architectural Tradition' which aims a construction of better environment, we can see that this tradition has ended historically toward ideal city. It is a continual trend from ancient to contemporary epoch in each transitional periods. It occurred especially in Renaissance Era of the West and traditional Japan of the Orient. Ideal city is an ideal commonwealth in which inhabitants exist under perfect conditions, ideally perfect places or state of things. The plans of ideal cities are complete projects of image, its goal is an improvement according to the eras. Its plans are characterized by rigid by geometrical pattern as circle and square, which contain generally center· axis · enclosure · boundary·symmetry. Recent architectural circumstances no longer reflect visions of the ideal city. Therefore, the ideal city describes characteristics of the era unlike the continuity of its concept.

The effects of sintering additives od the low-temperature sintering and microwave dielectric properties of Mg_(4)Nb_(2)O_(9) dielectric ceramics were studied. When 3 ~ 20wt% of 0.242Bi_(2)O_(3)-0.758V_(2)O_(5) was added, the sintering temperature decreased from 1100~1300℃ to 950℃ and high density was obtained. When the sample was sintered at 950℃ with 10wt% of sintering additive, the Microwave dielectric properties of Qxf_(0)=80,035㎓, ε_(r) = 13.3 and τ_(f) = -12.9ppm/℃ were obtained.
