-Background: Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is characterized by insulin resistance and consequent hyperinsulinemia. Insulin resistance plays an important role in the development of metabolic syndrome (MS). We conducted a cross-sectional study to determine the prevalence of the MS and whether the insulin resistance or hyperandrogenemia is related to the MS in young Korean women with PCOS.Methods: 143 women with PCOS (mean age 26 ± 5 years) were studied to evaluate the prevalence of MS by modified Adult Treatment Panel III. Insulin sensitivity was evaluated by euglycemic hyperinsulinemic clamp technique. Results: The prevalence of MS in women with PCOS was 11.9%, 2.8-fold higher than age matched women in Korean urban population. The most frequent component of MS was low HDL cholesterol (39.4%), and the least frequent one was high fasting serum glucose levels (6.7%). The frequency of MS was 40.7% in obese PCOS (BMI ≥ 25 kg/m2, n = 38), 10.0% in overweight PCOS (BMI 23~24.9 kg/m2, n = 13), and 0% in lean PCOS (BMI < 23 kg/m2, n = 92). The frequency of MS was 26.1% in insulin resistant PCOS (insulin mediated glucose uptake, IMGU < lowest 10th percentile of lean controls, n = 65), whereas no one had MS in insulin sensitive PCOS (IMGU ≥ lowest 10th percentile of lean controls, n = 78). Conclusion: MS is frequent in young women with PCOS, and obesity and insulin resistance might be essential for the development of MS in this study group. (J Kor Diabetes Assoc 30:285~291, 2006)

모차르트의 오페라 ≪마술피리≫에 나타난 선악의 해체적 사유

모차르트의 오페라 ≪마술피리≫는 계층, 젠더, 인종 이데올로기와 같은 18세기 계몽주의 시대에 은폐되어 있는 여러 모순과 부조리함을 있는 그대로 반영하는 동시에 비판함으로써, 선과 악의 경계란 해당 시공간의 맥락으로부터 벗어나서 해석될 수 없으며, 특정 영역 내에서만 통용되는 선이란 선이 될 수 없음을 시사하고 있는 작품이다. 전반적으로 이 오페라는 헤겔식 논법에 따르면 ‘표현되어야 할 내용’과 ‘표현된 형식’이 완전한 일치를 이루는 고전적 예술이라 할 수 있다. 그러나 밤의 여왕과 자라스트로의 음악, 그리고 성직자들의 합창에 세팅된 음악은 내용과 형식의 불일치로 인해 상징적 예술로의 후퇴를 보여준다. 또한 이러한 음악들은 작품 전체의 고전적 형식에 흡수되지 않고 이질적인 형태로 병치⋅삽입되어 있어 그 결과 고전적 예술형식이 성취한 아름다움과 예술의 완성된 상태는 해체되는 양상을 보인다. 그리고 이것은 오늘날의 청중으로 하여금 시대의 모순과 분열을 화해되지 않은 분열 그 자체에 주목하게 하는 동시에 젠더⋅인종⋅계층 등 조건에 상관없이 인간으로서의 가치와 존엄성이 인정받는 세계, 즉 ‘선’의 가치가 작동되는 테두리가 무한히 확장되어 보편성을 획득한 세계를 상상하게 한다. Mozart’s opera The Magic Flute is a work that reflects and criticizes various contradictions and absurdities hidden in the 18th century Enlightenment, such as class, gender, and racial ideologies, suggesting that the boundaries between good and evil cannot be interpreted outside of the context of that time and space, and that good cannot be good only within a certain realm. Overall, the opera can be considered classical art in which ‘what is to be expressed’ and ‘the form in which it is expressed’ are in perfect harmony according to Hegelian logic. However, the music of the Queen of the Night, Sarastro, and the music set to the chorus of the priests show a retreat into symbolic art due to the discrepancy between content and form. Furthermore, these pieces of music are not absorbed into the classical form of the work as a whole, but are juxtaposed and inserted in disparate forms, resulting in a deconstruction of the beauty and finished state of art achieved by classical art forms. This draws today’s audience’s attention to the contradictions and divisions of the times as unreconciled divisions themselves, while imagining a world in which the value and dignity of human beings are recognized regardless of gender, race, or class, a world in which the boundaries within which the value of ‘Good’ operates are infinitely expanded and have acquired universality.

In this Research, the desktop micro forming manufacturing system has been developed. A micro forming system has been achieved in Japan and it's developed micro press is limited to single forming process. To coincide with the purpose to be more practical, research and development is necessary about the press which the multi forming process is possible. Micro patterned metal components are used in so many precision engineering fields. This micro pattern plays an important part in the functional movement of precision module. This micro pattern on the metal component can be made by EDM(Electro Discharge Machining). But this EDM method has low productivity because EDM tools can be worn easily. If another manufacturing process is developed with high productivity, industries can product the competitive goods. So we research on the forming process and system to make micro functional pattern on the metal component.

데스크탑 마이크로 성형 시스템의 마이크로 팩토리 모듈화에 관한 연구

In this Research, the micro forming manufacturing system has been developed and is modulated to micro factory. A micro forming system has been achieved in Japan and it's developed micro press is limited to single forming process. To coincide with the purpose to be more practical, research and development is necessary about the press which the multi forming process is possible. We set the development of the equipment including micro deep drawing, micro punching and micro restriking process to the goal. To achieve this goal, we set the application product to a micro thin foil valve which is used in the micro pump module. The compound die set has been designed and manufactured to make two step process. The material of thin foil valve is SUS-304 and its thickness is 50㎛. We can get a good forming results from micro punching experiments in this paper. This micro metal forming system will be used by a module of micro factory. So we developed a micro manipulating and roll feeding systems to make a automatic controlled micro forming module.

중등영어 임용시험 준비생을 위한통사론 어휘다발 선정 및 텍스트 마이닝 분석

This study was devoted to generating an inventory of pedagogically supportive and the most frequent lexical bundles as well as to performing text mining in the domain of syntax. To this end, a corpus, representing most popularly used syntax textbooks for English education majors, served as a database for lexical bundle analysis. After being retrieved and compiled into a specialized English syntax corpus, four-word lexical bundles were extracted with AntConc 3.5.8 for a structural and functional analysis. The analysis revealed that the ratio of NP/PP structures (70%) was more than twice as high as that of VP structures (30%). In addition, text-mining was performed with KH Coder to scrutinize a co-occurrence network of words and to extract the frequency of parts of speech within the syntax corpus. A list of extracted words classified into the parts of speech and co-occurrence network graphs were generated. The generation of top-frequency lexical bundles along with co-occurrence networks and word frequency charts could be supportive for academic neophytes and secondary English teacher appointment exam (SETAE) preparers in studying syntax.

성조숙증 아동 어머니의 돌봄 경험: Q 방법론적 접근

Purpose: This study explored experiences of mothers caring for children with precocious puberty. Methods: Q-methodology was used for analyzing individual subjectivity. Seventy Q-statements were selected and scored by 50 participants on an 11-point scale. The collected data were analyzed using the PC QUANL program. Results: The following eight types of care experiences of mothers of children with precocious puberty were identified: Type I-1: hypersensitive and best-result oriented, Type I-2: treatment burden, Type II-1: treatment-oriented, Type II-2: self-blame, Type III-1: accepting and compliant, Type III-2: treatment confused, Type IV-1: serious and engaged, and Type IV-2: naturalism- oriented. Conclusion: These results can help develop specific education programs based on types of care experiences for the promotion of care among mothers of children with precocious puberty.

남북합의서의 규범력 확보 방안 : 「남북관계발전에 관한 법률」을 중심으로

남북한 사이에 체결된 220여개의 남북합의서들은 남북한관계를 규율하는 규범으로 작용하고 있다. 어려운 여건 속에서 힘들게 이루어 낸 결실인 남북합의서가 제 기능을 다하며 통일을 견인하는 역할을 할 수 있도록 하기 위해서는, 남북합의서의 체결과 이행에 있어 실효성이 확보되는 환경을 만드는 것이 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 남북합의서의 체결과 이행에 관한 사항을 정하고 있는「남북관계발전에 관한 법률」(2006년 6월 30일 시행) 관련규정을 종합적으로 분석함으로써, 남북합의서 규율 상황을 점검하였다. 그런데 이 법에 따라 체결되는 남북합의서의 규범력 확보 정도를 평가해 볼 때, 남북합의서의 법적 성격과 효력에 대한 기존의 논란을 종식시킬 수 있는 정도에 이르지 못하였다는 결론을 얻게 되었다. 남북합의서의 규범력 확보는 기본적으로 평화통일 원칙, 법치주의 원칙, 상호주의 원칙에 따라 이루어져야 할 것인 바, 이러한 관점에서 「남북관계발전에 관한 법률」의 개정을 포함하는 개선안을 제안해 보았다. 첫째, 남북합의서 정의규정을 조정하여 ‘법적 구속력 부여 의도’가 있는 남북합의서만을 이 법의 적용대상으로 한정하고, 준당국이 체결한 남북합의서를 적용대상에 포함시키는 것이 바람직하다. 둘째, 남북합의서 체결절차를 보다 정합하게 정비하여, 남북회담대표의 서명만으로 발효되는 남북합의서의 판단기준과 국회의 동의를 얻어야 하는 남북합의서의 판단기준을 하위규정에서 구체화할 필요가 있다. 또한「법률 등 공포에 관한 법률」적용과 관련한 문제도 명확하게 정리해야 할 것이다. 셋째, 이 법에 의해 체결되는 남북합의서의 규범력을 강화하기 위하여, 남북합의서에 ‘조약’으로서의 효력을 명시적으로 부여하며, 법적 구속력이 있는 남북합의서의 경우, 유엔사무국에 등록하도록 하여 국제조약으로서의 성격을 명확히 하는 것이 필요하다. 넷째, 남북합의서의 이행과 관련한 분쟁을 해결하기 위해 개별 남북합의서에 ‘구체적인’ 분쟁해결조항을 규정하도록 하고, 나아가 일반적 분쟁해결절차를 준비해야 할 것이다. 앞으로 통일에 이르기까지 각 단계별로 다양한 분야의 남북합의서 체결이 예상되므로, 남북합의서에 명확한 규범력을 부여함으로써 남북한관계를 제도화하여 더욱 안정적인 관계 발전을 도모할 수 있기를 기대한다. Approximately two hundred and twenty agreements that have been signed by South and North Koreas, and are currently operating as the laws of inter-Korean relations. For the results of those endeavors to bear fruit by fulfilling their function of leading the process of unification, it is essential that the legitimacy and effectiveness of inter-Korean agreements be secured. Through an analysis of statutes related to the 「Development of Inter-Korean Relations Act」, this study reviews the current system of regulatory legislation regarding inter-Korean agreements. Specifically, this study evaluates the degree to which inter-Korean agreements signed according to this law, have obtained legal effectiveness, and concludes that the law has failed to be obvious enough to end the existing controversy over the legal character and validity of inter-Korean agreements. In accordance with these results, this study attempts to explore ways for enhancing the legal effectiveness of inter-Korean agreements. Holding that these must be based on the principles of peaceful unification, the rule of law, and the principle of reciprocity, this study proposes several means for improvement including the amendment of the 「Development of Inter-Korean Relations Act」. First, the definition clause has to be revised. Currently, "inter-Korean agreements" are defined as "all agreements reached between the Korean government and North Korean authorities in written forms." Second, the procedure for entering inter-Korean agreements should be readjusted to be better systematized. Third, in order to reinforce the legal effectiveness of inter-Korean agreements enacted according to this law, an amendment of explicitly conferring the status of treaties on inter-Korean agreements should be considered. From this point of view, this study also proposes that all legally-binding inter-Korean agreements be registered to the UN Secretariat, so as to reaffirm their status as international treaties. Fourth, in order to resolve conflicts pertaining to the fulfillment of inter-Korean agreements, this study proposes that each agreements be equipped with specific dispute resolution clauses, and that general procedures for dispute resolution also be provided. Although the issues of inter-Korean relations and unification are politically charged and interconnected with many other factors, the relations between South and North Koreas must be able to function under the rule of law, for which a least predictability and legal stability must be guaranteed. The efforts for this will institutionalize inter-Korean relations, which will result in more stable development.
