        우리나라에 서식하고 있는 모기 ( Culex pipiens )의 항원 추출과 항원성 분석

        Purpose : Adverse reactions to mosquito bites have been recognized for some time, and these usually consist of large swellings, generalized urticaria, angioedema, and less frequently asthma. There have been some efforts to define immunologic characteristics of mosquito allergens throughout the world. But, in Korea, the immunologic analysis of mosquito allergen have not been made. Methods : Extracts of locally distributed female mosquito Culex pipiens, were prepared from their heads and thoraxes. By sodium dodecylsulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis, proteins of two extracts were isolated. Then their proein bands were transferred to nitrocellulose membrane. Immunoblotting was performed with sera of allergic patients to mosquito bites, then completed by antibodies to human IgE. Results : Immunoblotting showed IgE binding proteins weighing 70 kD, 60 kD, 34 kD in Culex pipiens. Conclusion : We found that mosquito antigens induced IgE response, and it suggested that species-specific antigens exist. Further investigation using salivary gland extracts from Culex genus are needed in identifying specific allergens.

        낮은 속도비에서의 직렬 이중 제트-교차흐름의 유동 구조

        The flow field structures of dual jet-in-cross-flow were examined experimentally for in-lined perforated damage holes configuration using particle image velocimetry. Ensemble averaged in-plane velocity and vorticity data in the jet were determined to study the mean jet structure. Jets are formed by pressure differences between upper and lower airfoil surface. The flow structure of vicinity of the thru holes consist of a vortical structure that wrap around the jets like a horseshoe and develop further downstream through a pair of stream-wise vortices. The shape, size and location of the horseshoe vortex were found to be dependent on the angle of attack. In spite of the existence of battle damage holes, the effect on the control force was insignificant when the damage size was not large enough.

        K-평균법을 이용한 고속도로 사고분석구간 분할기법 개발

        교통사고 분석구간 선정은 유사한 사고유형을 하나의 동일집단으로 처리함으로써 분석의 효율성을 높이고, 효과적인 개선 사업을 위해 그 순위를 결정하는데 필요한 작업이다. 기존에는 도로이정에 기초하여 균등하게 분할하는 방법을 주로 사용하여 왔는데 사고간의 유사성을 전혀 고려하지 못하는 단점이 있다. 따라서 최근 도로이정보다는 사고간의 유사성을 고려하여 구간을 선정하는 방식인 Slider length 적용기법이 사용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 Slider length 적용기법의 한 방법론으로써, 군집분석에 사용되는 비계층적 분류기법인 K-평균법을 사용하여 가장 인근거리에 발생된 사고들이 최대한 하나의 집단으로 분류될 수 있는 기법을 제시하고자 한다. 또한 이의 검증을 위해 경부고속도로 부산방향으로 총연장 25.6km구간에 대하여 균일간격에 의한 분할방식과 K-평균법을 이용한 분할방식에 대해 상호 비교를 통해 그 효율성을 검토하였으며, K-평균법이 사고의 유사성이나 인접성을 감안하여 효율적으로 분석구간 선정에 적용될 수 있음을 검증하였다. A selection of the analysis section for traffic accidents is used to analyze definitely the cause of accidents sorting similar accidents by a group and to raise the effect of improvement projects deciding the priority of accidents. In the existing method, an uniformly dividing method based on road mileages has been used, which has no consideration for similarities among accidents. Consequently, in recent, a slider-length method considering accident types rather than road mileages is widely used. In this study, using K-mean method, a non-hierarchical grouping technique used in the Cluster Analysis ai a applicatory method for the slider length method, a method classifies accidents that occurred the most nearby mileages into one group is proposed. To verify the proposed method, a comparison between the f-mean method and the dividing method at regular intervals on the data of a total of 25.6km lengths along Kyung-bu freeway in Pusan direction was made so that the K-mean method was proved to an effective method considering the similarities and adjacencies of accidents.

        PIV 측정 흐름형태에 의한 타원형 날개꼴의 동적 실속 특성 연구

        An experimental investigation on the static and dynamic stall characteristics of elliptic airfoil was performed by PIV velocity field measurements. The flow Reynolds number was $3.13{\times}10^5$ and the reduced frequency of the pitch oscillation ranged from 0.075 to 0.125. The onset of static stall was caused by boundary layer separation which started at the trailing edge and progressed toward the leading edge. However, dynamic stall was caused by the vortex shed at the leading edge region and the flow field showed a vortex dominated flow with turbulent separation and alternate vortex shedding. The increase of reduced frequency increased the dynamic stall angle of attack and intensified the flow hysteresis in the down-stroke phase.

        관통 손상 구멍으로부터의 제트-교차 흐름의 유동장 구조

        The influence of the battle damage hole on the velocity and vorticity flow field have been studied by using particle image velocimetry. Time averaged velocity and vorticity vector fields in the vicinity of jet are presented. The perforated damage hole on a wing created from a hit by anti-air artillery was modeled as a 10% chord size hole which positioned at quarter chord. At low angles of attack, the vorticity in the forward side of the jet is cancelled due to mixing with the wing surface boundary layer. Stretching of vorticity in the backside of the jet generates a semi-cylindrical vortical layer that enclosing a domain with slow moving reverse flow. Conversely, at higher the angles of attack, the jet vorticity advected away from the wing surface and remains mostly confined to the jet. The mean flow behind the jet has a wake-like structure.

        60Co 감마선조사가 대두 발아 성장 과정에서 핵산량 및 RNase 활성에 미치는 영향

        Gamma rays from ^(60) Co source in dose of 230 KR was irradiated to dry as well as previously soaked soybean seeds. By the irradiation the germination and seeding growth of dry beam was arrested by 50%, whereas that of soaked ones 67%, which was equivalent to what would be seen in 500 KR dry irradiated seedlings. In the course of 7-day growth and maturation of seedling, the DNA and RNA contents per embryo or per unit grain of gamma irradiated dry seeds were reduced by 50 and 57% respectively, and those of soaked and irradiated group 76% and 75%, respectively. Theses changes in nucleic acid contents as well as those in ascorbic acid and lipid-and acid soluble-phosphorus were all alike consistent with the germination and growth pattern of the irradiated on soaked or dry seeds. The RNase activity of soaked and irradiated soybean was characteristically different from that of simply dry irradiated one as well as the control. Discussion was made to relate these differences between the irradiated soaked and dry soybeans to the indirect effect of radiation via water molecules imbibed.

        유전자 알고리즘을 이용한 무인잠수정의 와조류장에서의 전역경로계획

        The purpose of this paper is to demonstrate that the genetic algorithm can be useful for the global path planning when the obstacles and current field data are given. In particular, the possibilities for a novel type small AUV mission deployment in tidal regions, which experience vortical currents, were examined. Experimental simulations show feasibility and effective in generate the global path regardless of current and obstacles. By choosing an appropriate path in space, an AUV may both bypass adverse currents which are too fast to be overcome by the vehicle's motor and also exploit favorable currents to achieve far greater speeds than motors could otherwise provide, while substantially saving energy.

        3차 간접흡연의 과학적 증거의 고찰

        Tobacco smoking and secondhand smoke exposure are linked to a number of adverse health outcomes. There is a new concept of thirdhand smoke that is residual tobacco smoke contamination remained after the cigarette is extinguished. This paper reviews published studies examining the residual tobacco smoke. Tobacco smoke can be attached to various surfaces and reemitted to air for long period of time. The dynamic process can allow thirdhand smoke exposure to tobacco smoke without direct exposure to secondhand smoke. One critical evidence of the thirdhand smoke exposure was significantly high urinary cotinine level of infant who did not have direct secondhand smoke exposure. Potential exposure to new and more potent chemicals generated from chemical reactions between residual tobacco smoke and ambient air pollutants can get more attention. Considering toxicity and exposure route, children are uniquely susceptible to thirdhand smoke exposure. The review provides strong background information for thirdhand smoke but warrant more researches on this issue.

        한국어 반음절단위 규칙합성의 개선을 위한 포만트천이의 변경규칙

        본 연구에서는 반음절단위 규칙합성에서 연속음성을 합성할 때 조음결합에 의한 천이구간이 없는 반음절의 연결로 접속되어 부자연스러운 합성음이 되는 것을 개선하기 위하여 연쇄모음의 천이구간을 보상하는 방법으로 포만트천이의 변경규칙을 제안하였다. 반음절 단위만으로는 포만트천이가 발생하는 부분을 채울 수 없기 때문에 반음절단위의 음성데이타와 모음의 반음절 단위의 정상부위로부터 세그멘트한 정상모음 42개를 추가하여 데이터베이스를 구축하였으며 포만트를 변경하는 방법으로 포만트합성에서의 공진회로를 이용하였다. 제안한 방법의 타당성을 확인하기 위하여 음성합성시 연쇄모음 부분에 포만트천이의 변경규칙을 적용하여 원음성 및 변경규칙을 적용하지 않은 반음절단위 음성합성방식에 의한 합성음성의 스펙트로그램과 비교하고 MOS 테스트를 실시한 결과 보다 자연스러운 합성음성을 얻을 수 있음을 확인하였다. This paper propose the alteraton rule to compensate a formant trasition of several connected vowels for improving an unnatural synthesized continuous speech which is concatenated by each demisyllable without coarticulated formant transition for use in dmisyllable based synthesis by rule. To fullfill each formant transition part, the database of 42 stationary vowels which are segmented from the stable part of each vowels is appended to the one of Korean demisyllables, and the resonance circuit used in formant synthesis is employed to change the formant frequency of speech signals. To evaluate the synthesied speech by this rule, we carried out the alteration rule for connected vowels of the synthesized speech based on demisyllable, and compare spectrogram and MOS tested scores with the original and the demisyllable based synthesized speech without this rule. The result shows that this proposed rule can synthesize the more natural speech.
